Description
If you enjoy street photography but are intimidated by photographing strangers, this 8-hour intensive course will teach you the techniques and tactics to achieve better photographs in the city.
Aimed at: Photographers of any level who want to improve their technique and tactics for street photography and develop their own style in this genre.
Objectives: To acquire and practice the most appropriate strategies and techniques for photographing in an urban environment, discreetly; to learn about the different styles and themes that can be addressed and to learn how to develop them with one’s own style and personal vision.
Methodology: It begins with a theoretical class where the students’ current work will be reviewed and we will learn about the working techniques of great authors that will be put into practice in an outing with personalized advice and a subsequent review of the best contemporary photographers, in addition to reviewing resources and reviewing and commenting on the practical work carried out.
Program:
– Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Theory and review of students’ previous work. Viewing and discussion of contemporary photographers and useful resources. Essential techniques for working in the street.
– Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Student practice with personalized exercises. Viewing and feedback on student practice. Tips and recommendations for continued improvement.
Materials needed: Digital camera with manual controls.
Important considerations: A desire to learn and enjoy taking photos in the street.
Prior knowledge: Basic knowledge of camera operation.
Taught by: Jesús León, journalist and photographer, author of the book ‘Urban Photography’ (Anaya, 2014).

Date changes
You can change the date of your booking at no extra cost up to one week before the start of the booked course.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a reservation, you must do so by writing to info@apiedecallesevilla.com.
- If you cancel more than a week in advance, we will offer you the option to change to the next available date.
- If you cancel less than one week in advance, you will lose the option to take the course and no refund will be issued.
If you do not attend the course on the scheduled day and time, you will not be entitled to a refund of the amount paid or a change of date.
Cancellations by the organization
Due to circumstances beyond our control, A Pie de Calle Sevilla reserves the right to modify or cancel a course. In such cases, participants may choose between a date change or a full refund.
On the day of the activity, the attendee must present the confirmation email received after making the reservation.
